On April 6, families in the Archdiocese of New Orleans are being encouraged to spend the morning working together in a spirit of service, whether that means staying home to spruce up the yard or helping a neighbor or stranger in need.
The Archdiocese of New Orleans has designated 2013 as the “Year of Family and Faith,” and now it has a new Smartphone app that will help users focus on strengthening both their faith and family life.
The Office of Evangelization and Eucharistic Renewal, whose mission is to encourage “communion with Christ in his Eucharist through an active participation in the Mass and through eucharistic adoration outside of Mass,” has the following programs on tap during the Year of Family and Faith:
