Ursuline students advance to leadership program

Ursuline Academy students, from left, Charlotte Kimble, Caroline MacLaren and Alexandra Sabrio, won an essay contest sponsored by the New Orleans Chapter of the Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge. The students will represent New Orleans at a Youth Leadership Program in Philadelphia in April. Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge is a national patriotic organization that strives to develop in young Americans an understanding and appreciation of the nature and the benefits of freedom. Ursuline has partnered with Freedoms Foundation, sending students to the leadership program, for more than 20 years.
