Stanton F. McNeely III, Ed.D., will be inaugurated as the 19th president of the University of Holy Cross (UHC) on Dec. 6 at 10 a.m. at the Moreau Center on campus, 4123 Woodland Drive in New Orleans. A reception will follow.
McNeely, a New Orleans native, recently led the Louisiana Association for Independent Colleges and Universities. He has also held numerous positions at UHC, his alma mater, including vice president of institutional advancement, director of admissions, director of student affairs, assistant to the dean of sciences and a business professor.
He is a 1991 Jesuit High School graduate and earned an MBA from Loyola University and a doctorate in education from North Central University.
McNeely succeeds Dr. David “Buck” Landry, who retired earlier this year.
