➤ Age: 29
➤ Seminary/Formation Year: Notre Dame Seminary, first theology.
➤ Home Parish: Mary Queen of Vietnam Church.
➤ Elementary School: Hong Bang, Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam.
➤ High School: Hung Vuong, Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam.
➤ College/University (if applicable): Bach Khoa University, Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam.
➤ Confirmation saint: St. Peter.
➤ Why did you choose this saint?: My parents wanted me to choose St. Peter because they wanted me to become like him, a man of great faith, love and humility.
➤ Favorite food: Most definitely, Vietnamese noodle soup. If anyone wants me to be surprised, just give me Vietnamese noodle soup when they invite me for the lunch or dinner. I will also make them surprised when I can have three meals with them within a same day, just only VIETNAMESE NOODLE SOUP!!!
➤ Favorite book/movie and/or TV show: Mary of Nazareth.
➤ Favorite Feast of the Church: Christmas Eve.
➤ Would you rather walk, run, bike or swim? I am not a good friend of walking or running. I may drag myself on the ground if I walk or run too much. Biking on the sidewalk with a bicycle is always my favorite choice!
➤ Would you rather cook or go out to eat? I know how to cook, but I am not sure if I am the best cook for me. Most of the time, the food I cook is not as tasty as I thought. I do not know why. Probably, I am missing some special recipe or cooking rule which I don’t know. Going out to eat should be an easy way for me to have the good food I want.
➤ Would you rather vacation at the beach or in the mountains? Vacation on the beach would be my first choice. How fantastic is it to see the sunrise and sunset on the beach, to swim on the beach in the morning, to bike on the seashore in late afternoon and to enjoy food, singing and music with my friends around the camp-fire in the evening.
➤ What else would you like to share? If anyone asks me, “What parts of the world would you like to visit?” I would say immediately, “The Holy Land and Rome.” How wonderful is that to see the places of Jesus’ living, walking, preaching and dying. I will walk on the path which Jesus walked. I will stand on the rock which Jesus used to stand to teach his people. I will have in my mind the whole scene from the Bible. Hopefully, I will have an opportunity to visit the Holy Land very soon. And also, I hope that I will have a trip to visit Rome as Father Jonathan, Father Daniel and Father Colin did. Every day, I looked at their pictures on Facebook and imagined that I was accompanying them on their trip. I would love to visit Vatican City which has St. Peter’s Square, Apostolic Palace, St. Peter’s Basilica, Vatican Museums, etc.
