Ten Marianites of Holy Cross to celebrate jubilees

    Ten Marianites of Holy Cross will celebrate anniversaries of entrance into the congregation with a Mass April 6 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Holy Cross Chapel, 4123 Woodland Dr., New Orleans.
    Sisters Monica Stelly, Aimee Clause and Alfred Ward will celebrate 75 years; Sister Flavia Reed will celebrate 70  years; Sisters Marie Emma Noel, Elizabeth Demeo, Judith Coreil, Carmelita Centanni, Annette Baxley will celebrate 60 years, and Sister Pam Weathersby will celebrate 50 years.

    Sister Monica, a native of Lake Charles, La., has served in schools throughout Louisiana, ministering as teacher and school principal in both elementary and high schools. She spent many years at the Academy of Holy Angels where she is remembered for her work as a choir director. Sister resides at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Nursing Facility and is engaged in a ministry of prayer.

    Sisters Aimee and Alfred reside in France and serve the community through prayer. (Their pictures are not available.)
