Lifting a monstrance exposing the Blessed Sacrament, Archbishop Gregory Aymond leads a procession marking the June 23 Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (the Feast of Corpus Christi) after the 11 a.m. Mass at St. Louis Cathedral. As they walked the few blocks between the cathedral and their destination – St. Mary’s Church at the Old Ursuline Convent – both processors and spectators alike joined in the singing of hymns such as “To Jesus Christ, Our Sovereign King” and “Here I Am, Lord.” The eucharistic procession concluded with benediction inside St. Mary’s Church.
