Zachary Albright has been selected as the Gatorade Louisiana Boys Cross Country Runner of the Year. This award recognizes not only outstanding athletic excellence, but also high standards of academic achievement and exemplary character demonstrated on and off the racecourse. Zachary was the All-Metro Co-Runner of the year this past season. He is an honor student – maintaining a 4.53 grade point average – and a member of the National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta. He has worked with the Habitat for Humanity, Special Olympics, Look Good Feel Better cancer patient support initiative. He is a senior at Saint Paul's School in Covington and the son of Dr. Anthony and Angelle Albright of Covington. He will attend Princeton University and continue his running career while majoring in business.
