At the Jan. 21 math tournament held at Catholic High School in Baton Rouge, Dominican’s Mu Alpha Theta (MAO) team competed at the event that drew 465 students from 25 participating schools. Dominican’s team placed in the following categories:
Individual Tests: Calculus BC, Elizabeth Champagne, fifth place.
Team Test: Calculus BC, Catherine Cerise, Elizabeth Champagne, Madison Miller and Abigail Morici, honorable mention.
Math Bowl/Ciphering:Calculus AB, Monet Brignac, Catherine Carr, Kathryn Fasold and Gabrielle Terranova, third place.
Interschool Test: second place.
