Creating a vocation-minded parish was the aim of a recent “World Day of Prayer for Vocations” at St. Dominic Parish, said Sister of Christian Charity Mary Kim Tran, the parish’s vocations coordinator. Priests, deacons and religious participated. Dominican Fathers John Restrepo, Peter Damian Harris and Charlie Johnson and Father Kurt Young (pictured above with the Quintana family – David, Lucy, Joshua and Mary) shared their vocational call in the homily. Sisters from different religious communities gave handouts and participated in the Mass as lectors and gift bearers.
