It didn’t take long for Josephite Father Anthony Bozeman, pastor of St. Raymond-St. Leo the Great Church, seminarian Daniel Green and a host of choirs, the X-Factor Drumline and the St. Katharine Drexel dance troupes to rouse more than 400 people to their feet to sing in praise of God at the fifth annual Youth and Young Adult Revival March 4 at St. Gabriel the Archangel Church.
The theme of the gathering was “Souled-Out Praise.” Auxiliary Bishop Shelton Fabre encouraged the young church of today to celebrate their faith. Focusing on the Transfiguration of Jesus, Bishop Fabre said: “Here in this place during this time in prayer, we will witness your great dedication as young people in the church, and we will give glory to God and be transfigured in faith by our time together.” Choirs included the Archdiocesan Youth and Young Adult Gospel Choir, the Xavier University Gospel Choir, Loyola University’s Genesis Gospel Choir, the Golden Voices Gospel Choir and the Young Voices of Praise.
