New Orleanians are publicly expressing their hope – and good humor – in some creative ways during this time of pandemic. The signs include this reference to Psalm 91 (below, center) on a boarded-up business on Decatur Street and Ursulines Avenue. Verses 5 and 6 of the Psalm read: “You shall not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that roams in darkness, nor the plague that ravages at noon.”
