Shaw recognizes individuals for contributions to school, communi

The Shaw Forever Alumni Association hosted its annual Alumnus of the Year Banquet Aug. 5 on its Marrero campus. Several individuals and alumni were recognized for their contributions to the school, the Shaw Forever Alumni Association and the West Bank Community.

Ryan Babcock, shown with director/principal Salesian Father Louis Molinelli, received a service award.

Bernie DeSantis, Shaw’s media specialist and website moderator, received a service award.

Wayne Templet Sr. (’66), with his son, Wayne Jr. (’91) and Father Molinelli, received the Alumni Association’s most prestigious award – Alumnus of the Year.
