Archbishop Gregory M. Aymond will celebrate All Saints Day Mass Nov. 1 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, New Orleans, followed by blessing of the graves at St. Louis Cemetery No. 3.
The following is a complete list of scheduled services:
➤ St. Roch Cemeteries: All Saints Day, Mass at 10 a.m. with Father Anthony Anala and Our Lady Star of the Sea Choir followed by the blessing of the graves. In case of inclement weather, Mass will be celebrated at the church. On Nov. 2, All Souls Day, Mass at 10 a.m.
➤ St. Louis Cemeteries: All Saints Day, blessing of the graves No. 1 at 2 p.m. and No. 2 at 2:15 p.m.
➤ St. Joseph Cemeteries: All Saints Day, blessing of the graves at noon.
➤ St. Patrick’s Cemetery: All Saints Day, Stations of the Cross at 3 p.m. in St. Patrick Cemetery No. 3, followed by absolution and blessing of the graves.
➤ St. Vincent de Paul Soniat Cemetery: All Saints Day, services in all cemeteries at 11:30 a.m., with absolution and blessing of the graves.
➤ St. Mary and St. Bartholomew Cemeteries, Algiers: All Saints Day, Mass at 10 a.m. in Holy Name of Mary Church, followed by blessing of the graves at 11:15 a.m.
➤ St. Pius X Cemetery, Crown Point: All Saints Day, Mass at 11 a.m., followed by blessing of graves.
➤ St. Gertrude Cemetery, Des Allemands: All Saints Day, rosary at 4 p.m., followed by blessing of the graves.
➤ Mennonite Cemetery, Des Allemands: All Saints Day, blessing of the graves at 3 p.m. There will be no lighting of the candles.
➤ St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery, Destrehan: All Saints Day, 4 p.m. blessing of the graves.
➤ St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Edgard: All Saints Day, Mass at 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church, followed by blessing of the graves.
➤ St. Joan of Arc and Ascension of Our Lord, LaPlace: Blessing of the graves at St. John Memorial Gardens, LaPlace, 1:30 p.m.
➤ St. Charles Cemetery, Luling: All Saints Day, blessing of the graves at 2 p.m. in Holy Savior Mausoleum in St. Charles Cemetery.
➤ St. Thomas and St. Martin de Porres Cemeteries, Pointe a la Hache: All Saints Day, blessing of the graves at Martin de Porres Cemetery at 9 a.m. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas Church followed by blessing of the graves.
➤ St. Patrick Cemetery, Port Sulphur: All Saints Day, blessing of the graves at St. Jude Cemetery at 9:30 a.m.; then, Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, followed by procession to St. Patrick Cemetery for blessing of the graves. There will also be a 6 p.m. Mass. Blessing of graves at Our Lady of Good Harbor at 1 p.m., followed by blessing of graves at St. Ann at 3 p.m.
➤ St. Peter Cemetery, Reserve: All Saints Day, Mass at St. Peter Church at 10 a.m., followed by a procession to St. Peter Cemetery for the blessing of the graves. Gumbo to be served after service at the school.
➤ Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery, Taft: All Saints Day, blessing of graves at noon, weather permitting.
➤ Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery, Westwego: All Saints Day, Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church, followed by a procession to Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery for the blessing of the graves.
➤ Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery, Belle Chasse: All Saints Day, blessing of the graves at 9:30 a.m.
➤ St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery, Toca: All Saints Day, blessing of the graves at 11 a.m.

➤ Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans: Nov. 1, the community is invited to Mass at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, celebrated by Father Randy Roux, chaplain at Children’s Hospital. Refreshments will be served in the Boulevard Room from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Call 486-0880 for information.
➤ Lakelawn Metairie Funeral Home and Cemeteries, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., Metairie: Nov. 1, ribbon-cutting to celebrate opening of Phase IV expansion of All Saints Mausoleum at 1:30 p.m. in the mausoleum, followed by blessing at 2:30 p.m. by Archbishop Aymond, who will preside at the 3 p.m. Mass, joined by Msgr. Andrew Taormina, pastor of St. Francis Xavier Church, Metairie. Fresh-cut flowers will be on sale on the grounds of Metairie Cemetery throughout All Saints Day weekend. ➤ Mount Olivet Cemetery and Mausoleum, 4000 Norman Mayer Ave., New Orleans: Nov. 1, families, friends and neighbors are invited to its annual All Saints Day event, accenting tomb cleaning with music by Vernon Ward and refreshments and barbecue for all in attendance. Manager Percy “P.D.” Bryan announces its Legacy Square project and Phase VII of its community mausoleum which will add more than 4,600 spaces. Contact the cemetery at 283-4358 for more information.
➤ Restlawn Park Mausoleum, 3450 Hwy. 90, Avondale: 35th annual blessing of the graves Nov. 1 at 2 p.m., Father Patrick Gannon, pastor of St. Bonaventure Church, presiding, with priests from various churches joining together for the All Saints Day prayer service. Individual gravesites will be blessed. Information, 368-6723.
➤ Rhodes Funeral Home, 3933 Washington Ave. (near Broad St.), New Orleans: Auxiliary Bishop Shelton J. Fabre, V.G., will be the principal celebrant at the annual All Saints Day Celebration Mass and musical tribute Nov. 1 at 9:30 a.m., with Edmundite Father Michael Jacques, pastor of St. Peter Claver Church, as homilist. Music will be provided by Clark J. Knighten, along with Connie and Dwight Fitch and other local musical artists. A special gift will be provided for all who attend, along with the opportunity to light a candle and sign the memory board in honor of their loved ones. Call 822-7162 for information.
➤ St. Bernard Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette: Neighbors and friends are invited to the annual tradition of sharing on All Saints Day and All Souls Day Masses, which will be celebrated at 3 p.m. each day. Father Salvador Galvez, parochial vicar of Our Lady of Prompt Succor, Chalmette, will celebrate Mass on Nov. 1 in the funeral home chapel. Father Nghiem Van Nguyen, pastor of Mary Queen of Vietnam Church, New Orleans, will celebrate Mass in Vietnamese on Nov. 2 in the Asian section of St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
➤ St. Clement of Rome Church, 4317 Richland Ave., Metairie: Nov. 2 All Souls Day Mass at 8:15 a.m. followed by a holy hour. Evangelizer Maria Vadia will speak and pray from 10 a.m. to noon.
