➤ Confirmation saint: St. Patrick
➤ Why did you choose this saint?: Patrick is both my father’s first name and my middle name. Plus, I was struck by his use of the three-leaf clover to explain the Trinity.
➤ Favorite saint: St. Maximilian Kolbe. His love for Mary and heroic charity provide an exceptional example of what it means to be a priest of Christ.
➤ Favorite food: Pasta carbonara
➤ Favorite book, movie and/or TV show: “Quiet Strength” by Tony Dungy. An amazing story of overcoming adversity and trusting in a God who keeps his promises.
➤ Favorite feast of the church: The Easter Vigil.
➤ Would you rather walk, run, bike or swim? Definitely run. This past March I participated in the Rome Marathon. A great experience!
➤ Would you rather cook or go out to eat? Probably going out. There are some pretty amazing restaurants in Italy.
➤ Would you rather vacation at the beach or in the mountains? As St. Therese of Lisieux would say, “I choose all!”
➤ What else would you like to share? Many people often ask me why I decided to choose religious life. My response is always the same. It is not so much me choosing religious life, but Christ choosing me (John 15:16). This has been an unexpected path yet filled with so much joy and fulfillment. Each day I think I am happier and happier.
