Archbishop Rummel High School’s Student Council plans an annual Back-to-School dance for students and girls from area high schools. This year’s “dress as your favorite superhero” dance in the school gymnasium attracted about 1,000 students who spent three hours dancing, talking, and catching up with friends. One highlight of the evening was a series of dance contests with students competing against each other. Not letting a broken limb prevent his participation in the dance contest, senior Josh Roth gets support from the other students. Junior Michael McLaughlin also challenged Josh Roth in a two-man dance contest.
