The Willwoods Community will sponsor a “Family That Prays” retreat for married couples and their teenage children Nov. 3-4 at St. Joseph’s Abbey. The retreat is designed to strengthen marriage, faith and family.
The spouses’ retreat will be held at the Christian Life Center at St. Joseph’s Abbey and will focus on growing closer in their sacrament. Their teenage children will have a separate gathering conducted by the Dumb Ox Retreat Team at Camp Abbey, focusing on a deeper understanding and encounter with God.
Parents and teens will come together on Nov. 3 to watch the LSU-Alabama football game and on Nov. 4 for a family session and Mass with Archbishop Gregory Aymond.
There is a suggested donation, but cost is not an issue in attending the retreat.
For more information, call 830-3716 or contact Jason Angelette at jange [email protected]. More information on the retreat is available at www.faithandmarriage.org.
