The Office of Religious Education will offer the Archdiocesan Catechist Certification Program (ACCP) in June and July to help religion teachers and parish catechists achieve and maintain basic or advanced certification in different areas of catechesis.
All catechists – whether volunteers or paid parish or Catholic school employees – are strongly urged to acquire or maintain certification. In addition, in light of the call for the new evangelization of all the faithful, lay Catholics in all walks of life are encouraged to take advantage of these opportunities to deepen their knowledge of the faith.
