How can we donate?
Abita Springs
Just finished an article about Planned Parenthood in the July 5 Clarion Herald. The fact that they are painting a pretty picture of what will take place at their butcher shop and are deceiving young people about the real purpose is really disheartening, to say the least. Glad to see that the Archdiocese is countering with ads that are a little more truthful about their real purpose.
Only, I was a little disappointed that somewhere within your article you didn’t allow those who wish to contribute financially to this ad campaign a means of doing so. Surely you must know that concerned, pro-life Catholics would be happy to help narrow the 4 to 1 gap in advertising by donating to the counter ads offered by Archdiocese of New Orleans.
I would hope you will correct this oversight in your next issue of the Clarion. These people have to be held accountable for their actions, and anything we can do to help stop their baby-killing factory I am sure we will do.

Sr. Anthony is a gem
Biloxi, Mississippi
I really enjoyed reading the article about Sister Anthony in the July 5 issue of the Clarion Herald. We worked together in New Orleans for many, many years, and I can’t think of anyone else more worthy of praise and recognition for her years of devoted ministry to the poor and the underprivileged in the Archdiocese of New Orleans.
I’m ever-mindful that Sister Anthony consistently maintained a simplicity of lifestyle that was witness to her commitment as a Daughter of Charity. I pray that God will continue to bless her with many more years of renewed good health and happiness in daily living.
