Remember thank you
Destrehan
Please be good to your spouse. I took my husband for granted sometimes. I can remember he once told me I treated everyone else nicer than I treated him.
I had not been feeling well for about 18 months. Since I am over 50 and have an under-active thyroid, the doctors blamed those factors.
In January 2010, a radio talk show asked, “What are the two most important words in a marriage?” We were surprised to learn that “thank you” are the two most important words. I say them very often now because my husband has to do so much for me. A malignant, Stage 4 brain tumor was found. Ten hours of brain surgery came on that day.
Please pray that my story has a happy ending. God bless you.
My husband and friends, children and sister got me through the next difficult months. I thank my husband Richard and my children, Alanna and Richie.
I also thank my friends: Paul, Sharon M. and Sharon D., Debbie, Pat, Jill, Patty, Dawn, Bonnie, Miriam, Cathy, Deacon Jeff, Mike, Ted and David. I thank my priests, Father Harry, Father Tom and Father Terry, and my ministers, Earline and Juliette.
