Prep baseball on WHNO television

    Seven high school baseball games, matching several of the top programs in southeast Louisiana, are scheduled to be televised as part of the First NBC Bank Prep Baseball Showcase, a joint venture with WHNO-TV and DW Productions.
    The series, which began on March 1, will be televised on a tape-delayed basis by WHNO, mostly on Mondays at 8 p.m. and streamed live on sportsNOLA.com.
    The schedule includes:
    ➤ Holy Cross vs. John Curtis, March 10.
    ➤ Brother Martin vs. Jesuit, March 22.
    ➤ Archbishop Rummel vs. Jesuit, March 27.
    ➤ Belle Chasse vs. Archbishop Shaw, April 4.
    ➤ Brother Martin vs. Archbishop Rummel, April 12.
    ➤ St. Charles Catholic vs. E.D. White, April 16.
    ➤ Destrehan vs. Hahnvile, April 23.
    The games will be shown on the following Mondays.
    WHNO also plans to televise a playoff game; date and time to be announced.
