Notre Dame Seminary will celebrate its 100 years on South Carrollton Avenue Sept. 14-16 with a rector’s dinner, documentary film premiere and Centennial Mass.
The 100th Anniversary Rector’s Dinner will be Sept. 14 at The Roosevelt Hotel, with a patron party at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m. For information on the dinner, go to www.bidpal.net/nds100.
A screening of the WLAE documentary, “Formed: Notre Dame Seminary & The Path to Priesthood,” will be Sept. 15 at 6 p.m. at the seminary’s Schulte Auditorium. WLAE will air the documentary Nov. 26 at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.
A Mass in celebration of the 100th Anniversary of Notre Dame Seminary will be celebrated Sept. 16 at 10 a.m. at St. Louis Cathedral, with a reception to follow.
“It’s really humbling when you think of the number of Catholic lives that have been touched by our passing on the faith and forming men as priests,” said Father Joshua Rodrigue, rector-president.
