Misters Football

St. Augustine’s senior running back, Leonard Fournette (5), joined Chris Markey (28) of Jesuit as the second prep player from schools in the Archdiocese of New Orleans to be named “Mister Football” by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association. Markey won the award in 2003 following a 2,000-yard rushing senior season. Fournette was the 2013 recipient of the LSWA’s version of a Louisiana prep “Heisman Trophy.”
