The king and queen of St. Charles Catholic High School’s Krewe de Charles Bal Masque XXXI, “What A Wonderful World,” are: Zachary Paul Duhe and Kaitlyn Nicole Boudreaux. Duhe is a member of the track team and has hundreds of hours of community service. He volunteers at St. Peter School in Reserve. Boudreaux is a softball team member, in National Honor Society and Beta Club and is an SCC Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion and a volunteer at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Home in Reserve. Royal Court members are Other members of the court are: duke Aakash Patel, with maid Lillian Smith; duke Wesley Melancon with maid Madison Cochran; duke Tyler Sandefer with maid Shelbi St. Pierre; duke Rhett LeBlanc with Maid Emily Eymard; duke Jeffrey Cupit with maid Mallory Brignac; duke Alex Miller with maid Grace Richoux; duke Jayce Tamplain with maid Lynsey Maurin. SCC juniors Will Torres and Jacob Twiner were royal escorts. Page to the king is Carson Thomas Villeret; page to the queen is Lyla Langley. Returning as King and Queen XXX are Patrick Ryan Ratliff and Madeleine Marie Murphy. The ball was held Feb. 4in the school gymnasium.
