The executive board of Jesuit’s 2016-17 student council was sworn into office in late August.
Members of the executive board include president William Fine, New Orleans; vice-president Guy Cresson, Metairie; secretary Leo John Arnett, New Orleans; treasurer Eddie Redmann, New Orleans; senior class president Jacob Marshall, Metairie; junior class president Henry McAloon, Metairie; three executive aids: Jandon Briscoe of, Harvey, Karl Hoefer of Metairie and Andrew Stahl of Metairie.
The board serves as a unifying agency supporting all school activities, fostering the students the ideals of Jesuit High School, providing a means of creating better fellowship and understanding between faculty and students and the students and fostering Christian leadership through a spirit of service to the student body and the larger community. School president, Jesuit Father Anthony McGinn, first administered the oath to president William Fine, who then swore in his fellow council members.
