Honoring a true Cavalier

The administration of De La Salle surprised former athletic director Joe Hines, center, before the Cavaliers and Archbishop Hannan held their non-district football game at Tad Gormley Stadium on Sept. 20. Hines,currently the AD at Hannan, was a student athlete at De La Salle and later the school’s head baseball coach and AD. De La Salle has been part of Hines’ life for 47 years, he said.
