Rhodes Funeral Home will host its Annual All Saints Day Celebration Mass and musical tribute beginning Nov. 1 at 9:30 a.m. The funeral home is located at 3933 Washington Ave. near Broad Street.
A reception will follow after the Mass at the Rhodes Pavilion.
“This event is meant not only to remember and pay respect to our deceased loved ones, but also to provide fellowship with families, friends and neighbors whom they have served and those they have never met, that wish to honor and celebrate the unique life of a loved one by participating in this New Orleans tradition,” Kathleen Rhodes-Astorga said.
Edmundite Father Michael Jacques, pastor of St. Peter Claver Church, will be the principal celebrant. Music will be provided by Clark J. Knighten along with Connie and Dwight Fitch and other local musical artists.
A special gift will be provided for all who attend, along with the opportunity to light a candle and sign the memory board in honor of their loved ones.
Rhodes Funeral Home was established in 1884 by Duplain W. Rhodes. For more information, call 822-7162.
