Father Benny Piovan, former Ascension of Our Lord pastor, expands his mission work

Father Benny Piovan, pastor of the Saltillo Mission and retired pastor of Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church in LaPlace, has expanded his mission work to bring the sacraments to more remote ranchos in Mexico. “As for the new ranchos, we have contacted and are working in 32 new ranchos, a total of 55 for now, but there are still others which we have not yet contacted or visited,” he said.  The new ranchos are northwest of the city of Saltillo. Father Benny also celebrates Mass in hospitals and other sites.
