St. Mary’s Dominican High School students Alexandra Amato, Ashley Barron, Bakhit Cuccia, Isabelle Anderson, Elizabeth Mobley and Camille Truxillo earned wins in senior and junior divisions at the 2020-2021 Propaganda Tournament held virtually by the New Orleans Academic Games League.
Senior Team members Ashley Barron, Bakhit Cuccia and Elizabeth Mobley placed first in the Presidents Tournament.
Elizabeth Mobley placed first and Ashley Barron was fifth place in the senior division. Dominican’s Senior Division Team with Mobley and Barron, Bakhit Cuccia and Elizabeth Mobley scored second place overall in the Propaganda competition.
In the junior Presidential Division, Dominican’s team of Isabelle Anderson and Camille Truxillo placed third as a combination team with Jesuit and Holy Cross.
In the senior Presidential Division Competition, student Elizabeth Mobley placed first.
In the Current Events senior-level competition, Bakhit Cuccia placed second; and Alexandra Amato placed fifth.
In the Sweepstakes competition, Dominican’s Elizabeth Mobley placed first overall. Coaches are Janis Dabney and Monica Haag.
