Deacon wins, then donates, 50th anniversary artwork

Deacon W. Gerard Gautrau, who was ordained as a permanent deacon in December, won the door prize at the Clarion Herald’s 50th Anniversary Gala Feb. 27 at the Audubon Tea Room – a “live” collage painting of St. Louis Cathedral and the gala event by local artist Alex Harvie.
