The Catholic Men of Christ held a healing service Aug. 24 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Churchb in Kenner.
Fr. Robert Joel-Cruz, event facilitator and pastor at St. Andrew Church in Amelia in the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux, travels to parishes with his healing ministry. He concelebrated Mass with his brother, Father Alexander (Alex) Cruz, who was in town from Divine Mercy Parish in Rahway, New Jersey.
Attendee Rich Crawford sats he witnesses miracles and healings and deliverance from the event.
“It is important to me to bring the support of prayer for everyone who attends, as we all have gifts to offer,” Crawford said.
“By answering yes to, ‘Do you wanna be healed,’ I have since used confession as deliverance from past sexual sins outside marriage both consentual and unconsentual.”
Crawford things more men could benefit from participating.
“To practice heroic virtue for the salvation and conversion of their family/friends/community souls through prayer of men trying to live more righteously as Catholic Christian Men. ”
