NOVENA FOR LIFE, beginning Oct. 13, churches throughout the Archdiocese of New Orleans and Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans will sponsor a daily rosary at different churches for nine consecutive Fridays after daily Mass. The Jesuit Social Research Institute at Loyola University New Orleans supports ending the death penalty, clemency applications and engaging a new generation of death-penalty abolitionists.
