MEN WHO COOK, seventh annual fundraiser for nonprofit Child Advocacy Center – Hope House, Nov. 3, 4-7 p.m., cookoff with more than 20 community leaders who partner with local restaurants who will cook a meal and be judged. Patrons sample the food and vote for favorites. Hope House provides a bridge to recovery and a pathway to justice for these child abuse victims in St. Tammany and Washington Parishes through forensic interviews and free counseling for victims and their non-offending caregivers.
