BEGINNING EXPERIENCE MINISTRY, an Archdiocese of New Orleans ministry, begins a 10-week program “Coping with Life Alone” to help those struggling to cope with loss due to death, divorce or separation. MAGNIFICAT, Metair­ie Chapter, a ministry to women, breakfast on Dec. 1, 9 a.m.-noon, at the Best Western Plus Landmark Hotel, 2601 Severn Ave., Chateau Ballroom, 16th floor, Metairie. Speaker: Janice Charbonnet, a Canadian who quit her job in 1996 and served as a missionary with NET Ministries where she met her husband, Jean, brother of Father Beau Charbonnet. They worked together with NET in their Canadian office and in 2008 moved to Mandeville with their five children. They are speakers for Willwoods marriage retreats and facilitate a program teaching married couples how to pray together. She serves on the Catholic Charismatic Renewal of New Orleans women’s team.
