JESUIT HIGH SCHOOL will host the Brother Dardis Fishing Rodeo June 17, with weigh-in at John Ryan Stadium, from 2-4 p.m. Anglers should register by June 2 at noon to receive a fishing rodeo shirt. DAUGHTERS OF ST. PAUL welcomed four new Lay Cooperators in May. On May 20 at St. Ann Church and Shrine in Metairie, Denise Balint of St. Jerome Parish in Kenner, Eileen Bongiovanni of St. Ann Parish and Gretchen Varnell of St. Aloysius Parish in Baton Rouge made their promises. On May 7 at St. Angela Merici Parish in Metairie, Kimberly Mouledoux of St. Angela Merici made her promise. The four women are among 100 promised cooperators nationwide and in English-speaking Canada who support and assist the Daughters of St. Paul in their mission of evangelization with the means of social communication. The Daughters of St. Paul New Orleans Community serves Louisiana, Texas and surrounding Southern states.
