KUDOS
Former Pope John Paul (PJP) High School coach Benny Homburg of Slidell was inducted into the Louisiana High School Soccer Coaches Association Hall of Fame. He served PJP for 20 years coaching Jaguar football, basketball and baseball and girls’ soccer. Benny’s three children followed in his footsteps with a love for coaching; and they, too, have served on the coaching staff at their alma mater at some point. Now retired from his private business, Benny enjoys attending his grandchildren’s sporting events and school activities.
