SHARISSE SCINEAUX, a 1986 Dominican High School graduate and former WDSU-TV associate producer, won an Emmy for “Outstanding Achievement Television Programming Excellence Public/Current/Community Affairs” from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for a year-long project called “Rachel’s Challenge” which she produced with colleagues at WXIA-TV, Atlanta, Ga., about the first teen killed in the 1999 Columbine High School shooting.
