ST. ELIZABETH’S GUILD, which financially supports children’s programs of Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans such as Padua House, St. John the Baptist Head Start, Cornerstone Kids and Therapeutic Family Services, held its first in-person Volunteer Activists Awards Luncheon in two years on March 25. Volunteer Activists of 2022 were Cindy Williams Bowman, Christine Thompson Briede, Nancy Carpenter Colomb, Carrel Epling, Jeanne Pregeant Gallo, Marian Gibbs, Wallace James Landry III, Kathleen “Kat” Mayer and Cindy Finley Nolan. Named to the guild’s Hall of Fame were Ellen B. Frischhertz and Fred J. Lipps Jr. (posthumously).
