ST. JOSEPH ABBEY, hosts two musical performances in the Abbey Church, 75376 River Road, Covington. The Southeastern Louisiana University Chorus, Concert Choir and Women’s Chorale join the Northshore Choral Society April 30 at 2:30 p.m. And, on May 3 at 7:30 p.m., the “ChoRuss” Vocal Ensemble – Dmitry Petrov, Marina Trufanova, Aleksey Polischuk and Anastasija Novoselova – from St. Petersburg, Russia, performs a cappella, with a love offering taken for the performers. “ChoRuss” will sing the music of Russian composers such as Rachmaninoff, Bortniansky and Tchaikovsky.
