Cabrini National Honor Society inducts members

Cabrini High School recently inducted 36 students into the National Honor Society (NHS). Membership is by invitation only. National Honor Society is the nation’s premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. Membership into NHS is based on the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. Students become eligible to apply for membership in the beginning in their second semester sophomore year if they have a cumulative average of a 3.5. (Beginning with the class of 2022, the minimum GPA is 3.6) to apply. Once a member, the student must maintain the required semester and cumulative average. Students must fill out an application where they identify their involvement in clubs, activities, leadership roles, service and character and then are considered for selection by the Faculty Council. National Honor Society members attend a meeting the first Monday of every month. Students inducted into National Honor Society for the 2018-19 school year include: Morgan Garlepied, Paige Luster and Helen Melendez, seniors; Hailey Artus, Abbey Bigner, Jianna Collins, Sarah Conaway, Brooke Cuccia, Emma Detweiler, Cameron Diaz, Colleen Gaffney, Ava Gatlin, Madison Major, Mea Morrell, Angelle Rodriguez and Cydney St. Junior, juniors; Chloe’ Barnes, Pilar Bradley, Calley Chauvin, Brieon Cooper, Mia Cutitto, Sarah D’Antoni, Heavenli’ Evans, Olivia Fenasci, Gillian Gourgues, Tatumn Kirkwood, Claire Labbe, Celeste Lovecchio, Christina Lovecchio, Emily Moree, Adriana Pazos, Heather Pitre, Kayce Roche’, Savannah Sticker, Kathleen Tomlinson and Kandice Trupiano, sophomores.
