Cabrini High students ‘ultra’ impressed

Louisiana Right to Life sent its mobile van with ultrasound equipment to Cabrini High Feb. 13 to let students see a live ultrasound of one of their teachers, who is 36 weeks pregnant. “It was the first live ultrasound I’ve seen,” said junior Victoria Barnes, 16. “It was amazing. It was unbelievable to see there was actually a child in my teacher’s stomach.” Barnes said she believes the mobile unit show-and-tell will have “a huge impact” on students. “It’s different from seeing a pregnant woman to actually seeing the child in the womb,” she said.
