Academy of Our Lady student earns honor band status

Academy of Our Lady freshman Gillian Decossas of Marrero, an alto saxophone player in the Archbishop Shaw High School band, was awarded third chair for the Louisiana Music Educators Association District VI High School Honor Band which will perform in January 2017. This placement allows Decossas to advance to the second and final audition for the Louisiana All State Band.
