Academy of Our Lady May crowning

Academy of Our Lady juniors recently led the school in its annual May Crowning. It is a tradition at the school that the junior class crowns the statue of Mary Help of Christians and then sends out the other classes to crown other statues on campus. Freshman Kihara Smith of Marrero crowns the image of Mary, the Immaculate Conception, while the rest of the class prays the Hail Mary.
