Abp. Sheen Mass May 8 at St. Stephen

Father Jeffrey Montz will be the principal celebrant of a Mass on the birthday of the late Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen May 8 at 6:30 p.m. at St. Stephen Church (Good Shepherd Parish) in New Orleans.
 
The Mass will be one of about 1,000 being offered across the United States and the world with the intention of Archbishop Sheen’s eventual canonization.
 
Archbishop Sheen was an Emmy-winning televangelist and spread the Gospel through the Society of the Propagation of the Faith from 1950-66. His cause for canonization was opened in 2012.
