2016-17 archdiocesan Catholic Directory wins national award from Catholic Press

The 2016-2017 Archdiocese of New Orleans Catholic Directory won a national second-place award from the Catholic Press Association of the U.S. and Canada. The directory is a listing of all Catholic parishes, schools, churches, organizations and ministries. The Catholic Directory is compiled by Jonelle Foltz, Cheryl Dejoie-LaCabe, MJ Cahill and Lloyd Robichaux of the Clarion Herald; Sarah McDonald of the Office of Communications; and John Smestad Jr., director of pastoral planning and ministries. The judges said: “Nicely presented with practical tabs for all the categories. Moving photos of special events give a pastoral touch to this reference tool.”
