On Nov. 6, Archbishop Gregory Aymond dedicated the new St. Martin de Porres Chapel at the Tulane Catholic Center, whose mural, painted by David Andrews, depicts the Dominican saint and the Blessed Mother worshipping at the foot of Christ crucified. The scriptural passage in the mural comes from St. Paul, who in Romans 12:1 writes: “I urge you … to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God.”
