MOUNT CARMEL ACADEMY, Fine Arts Department hosts Brown Linen Night, April 24, 6:30-8 p.m., Duplantis Gym and lobby. Works by studio arts students, spoken word poetry and music performances, STREAM (science, technology, religion, engineering, arts, math) art projects, Milne Art Market and art exhibition of Mount Carmel Fine Arts faculty members will be displayed. ST. RITA (Harahan), Home and School Association dine out at Raising Cane’s, April 26, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. 919 South Clearview Pkwy., Elmwood. 2018 HARRY TOMPSON CENTER GALA, “Give Your Heart to Father Harry,” April 21 at Sacred Heart Nims Center, 4301 St. Charles Ave., New Orleans. Live music, auctions featuring online bidding, food, 50/50 raffle,  $5,000 giveaway.
