The Coconut Beach Sand Volleyball Complex will host the annual high school Slam-N-Jam volleyball tournament on April 7.
The event is a collaboration of 26 student councils from local Catholic and public high schools to benefit Camp Friendship (children with spina bifida) and Camp Pelican (children with cystic fibrosis and other pulmonary diseases).
Each school will field at least two teams, sponsored by local businesses or civic organizations.
The event has drawn 1,600-2,000 spectators in recent years.
The first matches begin at 10 a.m. and the finals at 2 p.m. Admission is $10.
