#iGiveCatholic is the first-ever online giving day for the Catholic community. This is the third year for the #iGiveCatholic campaign, which will run online for 24 hours, from 12:01 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 28. This year, 17 Catholic dioceses and archdioceses across the country are participating in #iGiveCatholic, with a goal of $3.5 million in online giving. The Archdiocese of New Orleans has 149 churches, schools and other ministries available to accept online donations. The Clarion Herald, which publishes 44 issues every year and provides news, features and commentary on the local church, is among those organizations participating this year. The minimum donation is $25. For a list of all participating entities, go to www.iGiveCatholic.org and view the drop-down menu for each diocese. Advanced giving is available through Nov. 26, and any funds donated in the advanced phase will not be debited until Nov. 28.
