The Clarion Herald’s 2013 Elite Boys’ Basketball Team

On paper, Jesuit  figured to finish no higher than third in the final District 9-5A basketball standings. But Jennings, left, guided the Blue Jays to a 17-10 record and the championship by winning eight of 10 league games.
Victor, right, was the heart of the Purple Knights during a rebuilding season. Though double-teamed by St. Aug’s opponents,  Victor’s double-digit scoring and rebounding were a key factor in the Knights’ 24-10 season and second-place finish in District 10-4A. And the 6-9 center is just a junior.
