St. Mary’s Dominican High School Senior Stephanie Reuter Named A+ Athlete

St. Mary’s Dominican High School Senior Stephanie Reuter (Metairie) was among the honored local A+ Athletes for scholastic achievement, athletic ability and overall community and school involvement.  A+ Athletes is a unique campaign sponsored by WWL-TV Channel 4, Ronald McDonald House Charities and local McDonald’s owner/operators. A $400 donation, in Stephanie’s name, was given to St. Mary’s Dominican High School by McDonald’s restaurants of Greater New Orleans to emphasize education’s critical role in today’s highly competitive world. Each student chosen as an “A+ Athlete” was interviewed by WWL-TV Sports Director Doug Mouton for a vignette that aired Sunday evenings during WWL-TV’s “Fourth Down On 4” and several other times each week.  From left to right: Doug Mouton, WWL sports director, A+ Athlete Stephanie Reuter, Karen Coaxum of Coaxum Enterprises, Ronald McDonald, Jason Richoux and Anson Pierce of McDonald's Corporation, and Chris Bardel, McDonald’s owner/operator.
